DeGroote’s Executive MBA program is a 14-month commitment, beginning virtually in July and finishing in September the following year. Most of the program is online with four in-person residencies throughout. They take place in September (Module 1), February (Module 2), May (Module 3 – offsite residency), and September of the following year (Module 4). The Executive MBA program starts virtually in July and concludes in September of the following year, totaling 14 months. There are four 8–12-day residencies throughout the program in September (Burlington, ON), February (Burlington, ON), May (offsite residency), and September of the following year (Burlington, ON).
Residencies take place at the Ron Joyce Centre campus in Burlington, Ontario, with one residency held at a leading innovation hub. Between residencies, work is conducted virtually. Specific module details can be found on the curriculum page.

DeGroote’s Executive MBA is designed for candidates who have considerable work experience (10+ years), including a significant amount in managerial capacity (7+ years). Our students represent a globally diverse group spanning healthcare, technology, retail, IT, entertainment and more. If you recognize the importance of digital transformation and its impact on your job and industry, this might be the program for you.
While employment isn’t required, many of our students keep their full-time jobs during the program. The EMBA program is designed to complement your current role, allowing you to study without interrupting your career. You can apply what you learn in real-time, maximizing your education.

Tuition is $95,335 (CAD) and includes all course materials, accommodation, meals and transportation during residence. It does not cover transportation to or from a residency (i.e. airfare to offsite residency), nor a small fee set by Student Services at the start of the program (approx. $260). A GMAT is not required if you meet our standard eligibility requirements (7+ years of management experience, and a four-year undergraduate degree with a B average in the two most recent years of study). If you fall short on either work experience or degree requirements, a GMAT may be required.
Non-degree applicants will be considered if they have a minimum of 12 years of managerial experience. You are encouraged to contact us if you have any questions about your candidacy.
International students who attended an English-speaking post-secondary school or have lived/worked in a country where English is the official language, generally are not required to submit a language proficiency assessment. All decisions related to language proficiency are handled case-by-case and will be communicated during the admissions process.
